KPU supports leadership and professional development activities through the following programs:
Scholarly Inquiry Grants (SIGs) are available for KPU faculty/instructors. The grants are intended to enhance students’ learning experiences by encouraging faculty-led investigation of new or innovative teaching and learning practices. Deadlines are October 1, February 15 and June 1. [More info]
0.6% Faculty Professional Development Fund

Teaching Fellows Program

The Distinguished Service Awards honour and recognize exceptional, long-standing service to KPU and/or the educational community that it serves. Nominate a current or former employee in 1) staff or 2) faculty category. Administered by SSCT. [More info]
This honorary appointment recognizes distinguished performance of an employee, honours the employee’s standing of high regard in the eyes of peers and colleagues, and anticipates the continuation of the employee’s academic contributions to KPU past retirement. Administered by SSCT. [More info]
